Saturday was the wedding of a very good friend of mine. Adam and Brenna were married this Saturday at 11am (ish) at a very nice golf and country club here in the city. I was asked to be a groomsman and to sign the wedding liscence. There were three groomsman and no one was really a "best man" but I stood next to the groom, signed the legal documents and sat next to him at the head table.
I cant say how much it ment to me. I never really thought that Adam thought as much of me as he did to play such an important part on the most important day of his life. The day went by fairly quickly but I have to admit that I will remember it clearly for a long time. Much to my significant others chagrin, I am now very seriously thinking about getting married in as close to "traditional" as possible. Shauna is wanting something low-key and quiet, perhaps on a beach somewhere. I am thinking the same thing, but I wouldnt mind something closer to what my grandparents had. However, I know that what ever we have, it will be closer to what our families want. All I really want is for us to dress up as nice as possible.
Its frozen here today and I hate it. I am getting so tired of being cold and of there being no green around for me to look at. The longer this winter lasts, the more I want to move out to the west coast.
Work sucks.
More later.
