Another Day in Canada

Take off eh? Man its cold again.

Feburary is almost over, which means that it has to begin to get warmer soon right?

Any spelling errors are due to my cold hands.

The usual applies. Work Sucks. Its cold. I'd rather be somewhere else.

Thank you. Come again.

OMG WTF

Remember yesterday when I said that it was really cold and that fleshy bits frozen solid in no time at all?

Well today is COLDER THEN THAT!!!!

I so hate this weather. There is a windchill warning in effect and there will no doubt be fewer people out today because of it.

I wish it would snow.

COLD!

Today is even colder then yesterday and its supposed to get colder still. There is a windchill warning in effect for the city today and it's going to be dangerously colder out there soon.

Again.

Why do I live here?

Wednesday!

Its currently, with the windchill, -38 celcius. Which is cold enough to freeze exposed skin in less then 5 minutes.

I love this city.

Tuesday!

Cold. Windy. Tired!

Nothing new.

Despite being the only one in the service department for a good chunk of the day, the day went went by ok. There were a handful of things that on most days is normal and so I didnt have to kill any one.

Today might not be too bad, everyone who was away sick is now back and sharing it with everyone.

I will write something super mushy later.

Weekend

Saturday was the wedding of a very good friend of mine. Adam and Brenna were married this Saturday at 11am (ish) at a very nice golf and country club here in the city. I was asked to be a groomsman and to sign the wedding liscence. There were three groomsman and no one was really a "best man" but I stood next to the groom, signed the legal documents and sat next to him at the head table.

I cant say how much it ment to me. I never really thought that Adam thought as much of me as he did to play such an important part on the most important day of his life. The day went by fairly quickly but I have to admit that I will remember it clearly for a long time. Much to my significant others chagrin, I am now very seriously thinking about getting married in as close to "traditional" as possible. Shauna is wanting something low-key and quiet, perhaps on a beach somewhere. I am thinking the same thing, but I wouldnt mind something closer to what my grandparents had. However, I know that what ever we have, it will be closer to what our families want. All I really want is for us to dress up as nice as possible.

Its frozen here today and I hate it. I am getting so tired of being cold and of there being no green around for me to look at. The longer this winter lasts, the more I want to move out to the west coast.

Work sucks.

More later.

Sleepy

I am damn tired today. Damn. Tired.

Dont really know why, just seem to be pooped.

Work is crazy and I am by myself today.

It sucks.

More complaining later.

:)

Short

We are short staffed by two people. We cant seem to get anyone to approve the hiring of new people and one tech is out sick today.

So its going to suck today.

And to top it all off, its sunny outside.

I hate winter.

Monday

Cold this morning, but thankfully no wind which has kept the windchill down. The CBC weather web page says today is supposed to be sunny, which means that it will be cold too.

Excercised this morning.

I am going to try today to be productive at work. I dont think I have been that much lately and it seems that I should actually get my ass in gear.

Anyway, time to do Monday Morning stuff.

Friday Morning

I am so looking forward to winter being over.

I hate the dark, the cold, the lack of moisture in the air.

I just hate the cold.

Linux

So it has apparently been long enough for me to forget the headaches that I had the last time I tried to use Linux. Last night I installed SuSE. You can find it here.

I will write more as I loose more hair.

Books

I also started reading The Grapes of Wrath this past week as well. Cant really recall if I have read the whole thing through or not.

Its obviously a good book.
