Movie Night
Adam came over tonight (is still here actually) and we went out and rented a movie from Blockbuster. I have been wanting to see "Lost In Translation" since it came out and tonight I got the chance.
I had read a lot of reviews and commentaries about the movie before I saw it and I think perhaps it influenced my enjoyment of the movie. First off, I enjoyed it. I found its style to be almost seperate from the rest of the movie. It seemed to me that the pieces of the storie we almost put together by the way they looked then the way they seemed. A lot of the earlier scenes seem dark and heavy and as the film progresses there were more day shots and light/lite scenes. Either way, I enjoyed the film and the soundtrack is definately something I will pick up.
It was good to have a friend over to watch a movie, it doesnt happen very often and I think thats probably not a good thing.
Well, its late and I think I should start getting my stuff together for work tomorrow.
